So sian...in a few hours, i will be back in camp for another 5 days before i can come back home. One thing to be contented about is that it's the end of the month, which means i'm one more month closer to ORD. Had an enjoyable long weekend and i think it's time to get back to work. Let's hope that the following week will go peacefully and i can book out feeling happy. See you.

There's this story i would like to share. Once, there's a couple who has been together for 10 years. The lady was a hair dresser and one day, she got sent to another shop as a replacement out of sudden. So there she went and was even shocked to see her boyfriend walking past that shop with another lady. Having the fact that she really love her boyfriend and already planning to marry him, she secretly went to look for the lady whom she thought was the third party. To her horror, the lady confessed that she has been with the same boyfriend for 15 years. In the end, she is the one who have been someone's third party for 10 years. What has happened to the trust between lovers? Is it too much or too little?

SOMETIMES, LIFE DOESNT GO YOUR WAY.
GOOD THINGS END FAST, BUT
BAD THINGS TOO.
YOU JUST NEED TO DO,
WHAT YOUR FEELINGS LEAD YOU TO.
LEARN FROM THE YESTERDAY YOU,
BE TRUE TO THE PRESENT YOU.
LIVE WITHOUT REGRET AND
NEVER TRY TO ACT......

It's been so long since i last booked out on friday evening instead of sat morning or later. But this week, it's the LUCKY week again. Everyone was so motivated to book out before 5pm that we finished butt setting and reached back to camp just on time to realise that the vehicles were not ready yet and the booking in timing on sun was not comfirmed. This caused us to wait for an hour or two to finally get out of the camp at around 7pm.
Went LOT 1 after that to meet Eugene and saw junjie on the way. Too bad, he has eaten, if not, i'll make sure he went up level 3 to eat sushi with us. There's always other time. Sushi was expensively nice but it's once in a while to pamper myself. We have a good time chatting about the atec he went through. On the way back home, we saw junwei getting off the mrt train. Then it's my turn to alight and i reached home at about 10pm, tired but happy.

Wanna take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Valentine's Day. Pass our loves around always...
Went to auntie's home with my sis to play mahjong. We didn't go all the way just to play mahjong, trust me, we got better things to do. It's been a while since we last visited her place, and since it's the festive season and we are on holiday, why not? When we reached there, we realised there was nothing else we could do other then setting up the table and start playing. We played till 9pm when my mom started to call at interval of 10min to pester us back for dinner. We don't want to look like we are addicted to mahjong and also, my primary six cousin was throwing temper due to the fact that he was not winning, we decided to call it a day.

Back at home, my mom fetched me dinner and made sure i ate before she can go peacefully to bed. Then i called a friend to chat till 12+am and that goes my saturday. As the saying goes, good things always come to an end. Sunday is here and it's time for booking in. I finally realised the feeling of getting a you-don't-like-but-die-die-have-to-do job. And i finally get the reason why people working in the society always told me, who was a student back then, how they wish they were still studying and that studying is much better then working. I also hope that i can be a trainee all my nsf life and never go to unit. Trainee is like student and to go to unit is similar to getting a job. How i wish i get ord sooner.

My good deed: 1. I left the mahjong at my auntie's place knowing that they need it more than us. Even though i would like to have it at my place so that i can play when i want to. Self sacrificing.

It's almost a year since my last post. After re-read my past entries, i found that i have grow over the past year and life is really getting more and more interesting and exciting as well as challenging. Another thing is i really feel happy about myself is i have met alot of angels who have helped me along the way. What convince me to post again is that i realised my life is more than just the 5 posts and i wanted to read more.

So fast, four days of chinese new year celebration have passed. It has been a long time since i can stay almost a full week at home, or rather, out of camp. I just love chinese new year more and more. One of my new year resolutions is to do at least a good deed every day. I call it, "A good deed a day, keeps the devil away." Please, if you are reading this, help me think of good deeds i can do besides all the normal one like, giving out seats for the elderly. Just woke up, i am going to have my breakfast and then, maybe, continue my mahjong game with my sis and uncle and ah ma. Last night, we played till 3am and i lost $3, all to my sis. I am going to make a comeback later.
To the rest of my friends, enjoy the holiday and hope that everyone return to their own workplaces feeling refreshed and happy.

The sit test is really bad for me, but i can still get over it. Another thing is my 2 days range which i have been worried about since IMT, luckily, i passed, 16/32. I am proud to say that even through i am one of the worst in the platoon cos i did the test by myself, no need a sergeant to be beside me to tell me where to shoot.

Bmt is just about it. I am just left with IPPT and SOC to worry about. It will be nice if i can pass my IPPT real test on the coming monday so that i can get it over and done with. To think about it, i have been spending more than 15 weeks to train for my ippt already, this including the every-day-before-lunch-and-dinner-pull-up-routine and of course the endurance run. SOC is a no-need-to-pass thing but still i would like to try my best to overcome the low wall, i will gladly repeat again, the low wall.

I have spend more money on handphone casings, wallet and t-shirt. But still, i got alot more gadgets to buy, such as a digital camera, a bagpack, a pair of sport shoes and more clothes. I have spent more than $400 already, so have to be careful with the remaining in my bank account.

Next week will be the release of A level results. i seriously hope that i can get all pass and an entry to the university. if not, i will have to go to poly or other alternatives which i am not quite sure yet. To save all the trouble thinking, i will hope for a place in ntu or nus.

4 more weeks to bmt. enjoy the time with my buddy, desmond seah. Man, i can ensure that i will be missing him after the course.

I found this online and it's the most accurate about me so far. i would gladly post it here. This is how it goes:

It's been a month and a half since my last update. it's not that i have nothing to write, basically just lazy+tired+not-in-the-mood. Nevertheless, a lot of stuff have gone through.

Firstly, i have been getting used to the duties of the armskote assistant, it's juat a matter of being more cautious with the signing of books and handling the weapons as well as the sergeants. There are sergeants-u-can-play-around-with and sergeats-u-better-avoid. Once, i was this close to get an extra from a "idiot sergeant" called Gavin. It was partly my fault since i didnt apologise to him or show any sign that i was really sorry about the mistake i made. Fortunately, my section commander was kind enough to let this matter go.

Secondly, it was my 7 days fieldcamp which started on the 6th of feb 2004 and ended on the 12th feb 2004. It was quite an interesting n intensive training. We mostly have real life experiences to learn and practice fieldcraft. We have different lectures on fieldcraft for the first three days and began on our various missions on the forth day and "lucky" me, i was the representing-section-commander, rsc, for the day. The mission on that day was to go from one place to another place in a zizap formation. It was sort of like a treasure hunt and we were lucky to choose all the correct route all the time and finally got to the shelter just before nightfall. My sectionmates was really kind to help me along the way. One thing about me managing the section is that i am too weak. I dont have the balls to speak up and i start to panic under stress. I am really bad at giving the commands for the drills too. I have to practice before my sistuational test come. On the fifth day, i was still the rsc and the route was longer and unlike the first time, this time we have no instructor with us all the times and there was a night walk too which bring us to the digging site. It's really a good experience and i learnt quite a lot from it than if was a man. After the fifth day, things started to lighten up and times seriously flew much much faster. On the sixth day morning, at around 6.30am we continue to dig the stuff after only a 2hrs rest. It's the most physical-requiring part. On the seventh day, we leopard crawl and back crawl then go back tekong. Fortunately for me, i didnt get any extra or comfinement for any offence.

Next monday will be the sit. test. I hope i can apply what i have learnt and prove to sergeants and the rest that i can be a officer and give command. i got my second pay 3 days ago. I spend my first pay on guitar, handphone, fieldcamp stuff and a lot of food to get. I must have more self confident. Even the SOC too. nite

It’s my first book out from BMTC School 1. I am officially a trainee from Foxtrot company platoon 3 section 2 and my bed number is 8. Let me recalled my life in tekong for the past 13 days……Oh the very first day, after the parents are gone, I was supposed to hear for my name to indicate which platoon I was issued to. But, I didn’t hear my name, terrified, and was being sent to the so-called “extra” platoon. Fortunately, every thing was being sorted out I was able to go to the platoon I was supposed to go. If not, I might be sent to the other school and join another company which will only starts the day after. I learnt a lot of new stuff everyday I am lucky to have a good platoon sergeant, 4 sergeants and many platoon mates.
The only sad thing is that my buddy who sleeps next to me snore. I really had a hard time sleeping there. Another thing is the punishment. I hate it when I get punished when I was not the one making the mistake, but I managed to turn this anger into my strength and prove to the others I was right.
Training can be tough, with or without punishment. I find the road march toughest. Imagine a 40+kg guy to carry a 20kg field bag, sbo, rifle and march for 3 km, it’s really training. I have never seen myself sweat so much before. But I felt good after the march. It’s like accomplishing an mission impossible. Another thing I still can’t get used to is the water parade. I seldom drink water but still in there, I have to dink a lot within a short time. Almost every time I have the urge to throw up. Commanding is another problem I faced. Even though I was in NPCC once, I still cannot pronounce the commands properly. I will have to be louder and more confident to speak up.
I have to book in tomorrow and I still got tons of things haven’t done yet. I will try to update after my second book out which is on Saturday.

By now, i have learnt alittle more about blogger and its skin. it's actually kind of fun to combine all the great features of various skins to form one unique piece especially for myself. it's hard work, i learned it in a day, and it's not done yet though, i will improve on it later. But this is it for now, till then, take care.

It is the first post in here. It's a brand new day. i am preparing for my 3 wks trip to tekong which is in 2 days time. Feeling anticipated and yet nervous, i dont know whether it would be a great experience or not. It depends alot on your fate, your luck since you have no control over anything, from what time to get up to which unit you are being posted to. i just pray that my platoon mates are nice and easy going and my officers will be kind to me. We will see if my prayer works in 2 days time. i will be going for my last shopping to get a alarm clock and then start packing, so see you later.
